Procedure for Cosmetic filling

Preparation

Dental bonding requires nothing in the way of preliminary preparation. Anesthesia may not be required unless we need to treat tooth decay or if the cavity is close to a nerve.  We will choose a composite resin hue that closely matches the tint of your tooth using a shade guide.
The fusing procedure

After the cavity preparation, the tooth surface is etched to enable the tooth to receive the filling. After this, the bonding material is applied.
Etching ensures that the bonding material adheres well to the tooth more after this process.
The bonding material is then hardened by using specific light, typically a blue or laser light. The tooth-colored resin is then applied, cured, shaped, and polished. Average bonding time for teeth.

Each tooth typically requires between 30 and 60 minutes to finish.
